Billing Information
For your convenience, we are pleased to accept a variety of payment methods, including Visa, MasterCard, Cash, and Debit. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered, unless alternative arrangements have been made with us in advance. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your account, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is here to assist you and will be happy to address any inquiries you may have about your billing or payment options.
The fees for services provided in our office align with the current Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide, ensuring transparency and consistency in our pricing. It is important to note that patients are fully responsible for all fees charged by our office, regardless of their insurance coverage. For patients with dental insurance, it’s possible that certain portions of the fee may not be covered under your specific benefit plan. We understand that navigating insurance can sometimes be challenging, and we’re here to help. Continue reading below to find out how we can support you in maximizing your insurance benefits and making the most of your coverage.
Insurance
As a general dental practice, we do not accept direct payments (also know as “assignment”) from insurance companies. Patients are responsible for fees charged. We will work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. Furthermore, by not acting as a third-party to your insurance provider, we enable you to benefit from any rewards programs associated with your method of payment.
If you have dental insurance, we are able to submit electronic claims to your insurance company directly. In many cases, if direct deposit is available, your entitled reimbursement will be received within days of electronic submission. In order to submit your electronic dental insurance claim we will require the following:
Name of Insured
The Insured’s date of birth
The Insured’s full address
Name of Insurance Company
Policy # and Certificate #
If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. They are well informed, up-to-date and can be reached by phone at (613) 389-1099.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a federal initiative designed to make dental care more accessible for Canadians. It provides financial support for eligible individuals and families who do not have private dental insurance, helping cover the costs of essential dental services such as cleanings, fillings, and examinations. The program is income-based, aiming to ensure that low- and middle-income households can maintain their oral health without financial barriers.
